Privacy policy

For effective treatment, it is essential that I as your treating therapist maintain a record, as mandated by the Dutch Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO). This record includes notes about your health condition, as well as details of conducted examinations and treatments.

Within this record, I also include data crucial for your treatment, obtained from other healthcare providers, such as your general practitioner, with your explicit consent. We strive to safeguard your privacy by handling your personal and medical information carefully, restricting access to unauthorized individuals.

Me, as your treating therapist, is the sole entity with access to the data in your record, bound by legal confidentiality. Additionally, data from your record may be used for purposes such as informing other healthcare providers (with your consent), temporary oversight during absence, anonymized use for peer review, and a limited portion for financial administration.

If there are other reasons to use your data, you will be informed beforehand, and explicit consent will be sought.
